Profiles interviews
The best part of producing Makinrent.com has to be conducting the Profiles interviews. We conduct the Profiles interviews via email, because our interviewees are located all over the United States. This year we want to expand our Profiles interviews to creative artists living outside of the United States. Sometimes, a potential interviewee will accept our interview request right away. Other times, it will take six months for them to turn us down.
Our Profiles interviewees are at different stages of their careers. We interview creative artists making the transition from college to the real world, mid-career professionals and those who are winding down their careers. When we graduated from college almost six years ago, we used to scour books, magazines and websites for Profiles on our favorite artists. Reading about these artists kept us inspired at the beginning of our careers.
